antique 23 inch doll by BESTER with composition ball joint body

Description

This is an interesting doll.   She has a composition head and body.     She is made by the Bester company, an american doll company out of New York that did not last very long.    The head is a slightly different shade color wise than the body.   She has tin  sleep eyes.     It appears that her body has not been repaired but has the usual dings and  hairline cracking that an aged body has.  It needs restringing.   Please look close at the photographs.  Her  wig is nice and I think it is synthetic.  I have pulled it back and cannot find any marks on the body or the head.   Usually they are marked but this one is not.     She dates to early 1900's.  She is 23 inches.
